Business trends : ANAPI evaluates the Doing Business 2019 reforms on business creation and the payment of taxes
Following the publication of the World Bank’s Doing Business 2018 Report, after which the DRC improved its listing in the overall ranking of two places, from 184th place in five years to 182nd place, the time has come the implementation of new reforms on certain indicators and the consolidation of already effective reforms for the other indicators.
It is in this context that the National Agency for the Promotion of Investments has convened, on December 28, 2017, at its administrative headquarters, the second meeting of the decision-makers of the institutions involved in the process of business creation within the One-stop shop dedicated to this end, and at the same time involved in the reform relating to the payment of taxes and taxes indicator, on the evaluation of the progress of the Doing Business 2019 reforms on the two indicators mentioned above, namely the computerization and networking of services involved in business creation and the extension of the single declaration and payment of taxes, social security contributions and employer contributions on remunerations to medium-sized enterprises, concerning the payment of taxes indicator and taxes.
