Rawbank, the leading bank in the Democratic Republic of Congo, has been selected by the World Bank subsidiary, the International Finance Corporation (IFC), as the first private financial institution to receive and deliver training dedicated to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) ” Business Edge “in Central Africa.

This training aims to strengthen the capacities of entrepreneurs, managers and staff of SMEs, to facilitate their access to finance and improve management tools and management methods of companies.

The inauguration of this partnership reflects Rawbank’s ambition to actively contribute to setting up appropriate mechanisms for SMEs to promote their integration into the formal sector. This partnership also serves IFC’s twin goals of reducing poverty and equitably distributing growth. In Africa, SMEs account for nearly 90% of private enterprises.
